Throughout 2021 we’ve taken on increasingly large jobs in the Education sector. Having a full complement of staff and partners up and down the UK has allowed us to provide services for key Student Accommodation buildings for companies such as Study Inn and Collegiate AC.
Providing our facilities management services to the education sector brings us a lot of satisfaction. We’re able to support companies with a high duty of care to their residents and ensure the safety of young people across the country.
Two of our recent jobs include 5 Year Mains Electrical Circuit Testing for the Bagot Street (Birmingham) and Corporation Village (Coventry) student housing sites for Collegiate AC.
Our team tested a combined 3150+ circuits across the sites efficiently and provided Lightning Protection testing and improvements.
Although often overlooked, Lightning Protection systems help prevent catastrophic damage to the building’s electrical systems. In the case of student accommodation – lightning damage can lead to a complete lack of power, and therefore massive disruption to students’ living arrangements and studies, not to mention a high financial cost to the business.

We also provide essential PAT testing for the appliances found in staff offices, reception and communal areas. And our fire alarm system installation and maintenance services help ensure the ongoing safety of all residents and colleagues in the building – day and night.
